Al Fresco capitalises on growth in luxury mobile home holidays

Al Fresco Holidays reports that it has seen a 20% growth in visitors to Croatia this year and is offering discounts of up to 40% for agents to offer their clients. The operator is also introducing an additional site as well as new mobile homes to capitalise in the growth in both Croatia and luxury mobile home holidays. In addition to the Bi Village near Pula it is adding Camping Lanterna near Porec, which has recently become part of the ?Leading Campings of Europe?. The site offers a range of facilities in a location ideal for exploring including the nearby city of Porec.

The company's commitment to growth in this area will see the new Riviera range of luxury mobile homes introduced to Camping Lanterna. The spacious homes are fitted to a high standard, have two or three bedrooms, optional air conditioning, a decked veranda and barbeque as standard.

Prices at Lanterna lead in at ?212 per mobile, which sleeps a maximum of eight people and ?179 at Bi village where mobile sleep up to a maximum of six.
The operator's sales manager, John Escott, said: "Interest in Croatia and luxury mobile home holidays is definitely on the increase. We now have two sites and increased capacity with our new Riviera range of mobile homes introduced for the first time.

"We have seen a 20% growth in 2011 and with the introduction of increased capacity and a new park in 2012 we expect to see further significant growth."

Clients can either drive or take advantage of the growing number of flight options to the region including the launch of Jet2's direct flights to Pula from Manchester for 2012.
