Aer Lingus schedule winter uplift to UK services

Services from Belfast City Airport to London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh will see an increase this winter season. 

Beginning on October 31, 2021, Aer Lingus is set to roll out a winter uptake in services from a number of its UK bases.

Manchester is set to double its capacity, with the service doubling from once daily to twice daily on October 31, 2021. Fares start from ?29.99 each way.

London Heathrow will host two extra services to Belfast, returning the schedule to pre-pandemic levels of 21 flights per week.

Edinburgh's programme will rise from daily services to 11 weekly flights over the winter.

Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus chief customer officer, said: ?Aer Lingus is providing a significant increase in frequency between Belfast and London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh, reconnecting businesses, as well as friends and families in the UK that have been kept apart for too long."

Along with the regional increase of services, Aer Lingus is launching a direct flights from Manchester Airport to Barbados, operating three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays until the end of April 2022, starting from ?259 each way.

Manchester will welcome another long-haul service on December 1, 2021, as the airline launches a Manchester to JFK (New York) service. From December 11, 2021, the airline will operate flights direct to Orlando from Manchester four times a week. 

Northern Irish passengers will be able to connect any of Aer Lingus' new long-haul services to flights from Belfast.
