p> To celebrate ?Orange For Orang-utan Day? on November 10, Orion Expedition Cruises is launching a trade campaign which will not only reward travel agents but will also help in the conservation of orang-utans and their habitats. Throughout November, any agent booking a 2011 Orion Expedition Cruises? voyage will be rewarded by Orion adopting an orang-utan in their name.
The agent will receive a personalised certificate with a colour photo of their adopted orang-utan, an orang-utan factsheet, a cuddly toy orang-utan and an update after six months of adoption. Agents will also be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win a fabulous trip to Australia for two people including return flights and a cruise on Orion.
Commenting, Andy Harmer, Orion?s UK Director of Sales & Marketing, said: ?The destinations visited by Orion have some of the most pristine and sensitive wilderness areas on our planet and we have a social responsibility to develop a marine tourism blueprint that is sustainable and at the forefront of eco-sensitivity. This new trade campaign not only supports Orion?s commitment to sustainability but also raises awareness of the plight of some of our planet?s most beautiful creatures.?
