Thank you to those who joined the Travel Bulletin team for our LGBTQ+ Showcase in Worthing on Tuesday 13th February. We hope you learnt lots of new information about our wonderful exhibitors and enjoyed catching up with one another.

In April 2024, the Cook Islands will have its first LGBTQ+ Anuanua (Rainbow) festival / Pride event, in celebration of the first anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality. The Cook Islands have always welcomed LGBTQ+ travellers from around the world and hope that the change in the law will encourage more visitors who may have previously felt a concern.

International high-speed train company Eurostar has carried millions of passengers across Europe since 1994. Recently merged with Belgian-French operator Thalys, the new Eurostar offers routes to 28 destinations across the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany and our goal is to provide sustainable rail connections across northern Europe to 30 million passengers by 2030.

Thanks to its distinctive skyline, Benidorm is well known as the Spanish Manhattan. It has more than fifty establishments geared towards our LGBTQ+ visitors (hotels, clubs, cafeterias, bars, restaurants, travel agencies and saunas), most of them located in the old town area of Benidorm. The Benidorm Pride (4th largest Pride Festival in Spain and included in the European Pride Calendar as the Closing Pride) is also celebrated in September where the parade stands out by the beach as a being fun, visual and colourful event knowing how to unite fiesta with culture as cultural events are celebrated at the same time for the LGBTQ+ visitors and general public.

Thanks to its amazing weather, thriving arts scene, diverse population and non-stop nightlife, Greater Miami & Miami Beach has earned its spot as one of the preferred holiday destinations among the LGBTQ+ community. Its multifaceted appeal lets visitors enjoy unique natural wonders, world-class cultural happenings in a city that never sleeps and fun-in-the-sun partying.
