The World Food Travel Association (WFTA) has invited food-loving travellers and the world?s travel and hospitality industries to join and celebrate World Food Travel Day together on April 18.
World Food Travel Day celebrates the reason to travel to experience world's culinary cultures.
First launched in 2019, the day is designed to bring awareness to consumers and trade. It supports the association?s mission to preserve and promote culinary cultures through hospitality and tourism.
This year, WFTA is asking supporters to feature their favourite local food and beverage experiences that visitors of that area would love.
To participate on April 18, one has to post photos, videos and stories from a favourite food or drink experience they had while travelling. After that, the participants have to use the #WorldFoodTravelDay along with tagging @worldfoodtravelassn on Instagram and @WorldFoodTravel on Twitter or Facebook. The association will then like and share the posts.
