After spending 10 extra days onboard, all passengers of Scenic Eclipse safely arrived home via dedicated charter flights.
After its Antarctica in Depth voyage, Scenic Eclipse was required to change course and sail to Montevideo (Uruguay) to safely disembark all 174 passengers, due to dock in Ushuaia on March 18. The airport and port are being closed due to the pandemic.
All passengers including 17 from UK safely arrived home last week via dedicated charter flights to various international airports.
The staff onboard said that the captain was fantastic in every respect. He kept them informed and maintained high morale with all the passengers. While all this was going on, they continued to enjoy the food, drink and service that Scenic is famous for.
