Experience Africa with Virgin Limited Edition?s virtual game drives every week

After the sofa safari episode live from the Sabi Sand last month, Virgin Limited Edition has announced another virtual tour live from Maasai Mara this time

With virtual experiences taking over social media, there are plenty of people who are always on the lookout for interesting content. The increase in demand has further pushed the luxury hotel to organise a virtual game drive this month from Maasai Mara and a wine tasting lesson at Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyard, Franschhoek.

Ulusaba Private Game Reserve has been showcasing live game drives in the African bush, with sightings of a female leopard and her two new cubs, wild dogs or painted wolves, (as they are called locally), elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and lions , including a golden orb web spider.

But the experiences at Ulusaba and Mahali Mzuri, are contrasting. While the savannah plains spreading far and wide, make a picturesque rugged terrain, the Ulusaba reserve is comparatively greener, and populated with trees. With the virtual game drives from Mahali Mzuri, almost everybody can secure a front seat and be transported into the heart of Mara and see the chance glimpse of an African elephant, rhino, Cape buffalo, Lion, among other animals.

Head Winemaker of Mont Rochelle will lead you through the stunning Franschhoek surroundings, and teach you a trick or two about wine-tasting. You can ask questions and learn a good deal about how to get the most from your wine in a real-time authentic converstation.

Vanessa Neal, group director of sales and marketing of Virgin Limited Edition said: ?We are aware that there are many other virtual experiences at the moment, but we truly believe ours stand out and our viewers want more. Our weekly live game drives from South Africa have given many people, something to look forward to every week, at a time when they can only dream of travelling. It is incredibly important at this point that we continue to inspire.?

?Both Mahali Mzuri and Mont Rochelle will offer their own unique experiences and it is a good opportunity to show the contrast, from a safari in Kenya, compared to that in South Africa. Both have their own incredible selling points, and show viewers that they can combine a safari in the South African bush, with a stay in the lovely vineyards of Franschhoek.

?The thrill of a game drive is not knowing what might appear next. If travel restrictions continue to be in place, we may even have a glimpse of the first virtual Great Migration, as it crosses through the path of our beautiful Mahali Mzuri.?
