Playa reward stays made more accessible than ever for agents

Playa Hotels & Resorts has streamlined its rewards programme, meaning agents can redeem as few as 35 points for a free night's stay

While fewer points are on offer per room, per night, the limits on point redemption for free stays have also been reduced.

35 points (the equivalent of three seven-night bookings logged) can be redeemed for a free night's stay at select Wyndham, Jewel and Seadust properties. Previously, around 700 points were required.

70 points are required for a free night at select Hilton properties and 85 points will earn agents a free night at select Hyatt and Jewel Grande properties (down from 1400 and 1700, respectively).

Points are tiered from two to five per night, per room depending on room category and property booked. More details can be found on the Playa Rewards platform.

Cash rewards are still available, with one point equivalent to one pound.

Nicola Francis, Playa Hotels & Resorts' market manager for the UK, Ireland and Spain, emphasised that the brand remains "committed to ensuring agents can benefit from the Playa bookings they make in a way that is meaningful to them.

"Following direct agent feedback, we have taken the step to simplify Playa Rewards, giving agents the opportunity to earn more from the bookings they log. Our lowered points system means agents will reap significant benefits quickly, with fewer bookings needed for free night stays."
