National Travel Agent Day celebrations will see the cruise line offer double Shine Rewards points from September 5th to 8th, and a competition with two agents winning holidays
Ruth Venn, the cruise line's associate VP of sales and distribution, kickstarted the celebrations. "National Travel Agent Day is the perfect opportunity for us to recognise and reward the passion, expertise and hard work of our trade partners.
"Agents not only go above and beyond on campaigns and launches, but fully engage with our training and do the very best for their customers."
Double Shine Rewards points apply throughout the promotion on Select Price bookings, which can be redeemed against vouchers or a P&O Cruises holiday of agents' own.
During the same period, agents can tag a colleague in one of P&O Cruises' National Travel Agent Day social media posts, explaining exactly how they have "shone" above and beyond. The nominator and nominee will both earn entries into a prize draw, the winners of which will earn a seven-night balcony cabin cruise from Southampton each.
Both agents must be members of Shine Rewards Club to qualify.
Intrepid Travel has also announced bonus rewards to celebrate National Travel Agent Day.
