The safari, organised in partnership with Sense of Africa, was incentivised through a new reward scheme on Travel Counsellors digital platform, Phenix.
From sleeping under the stars in luxury tent accommodation to game drives in private reserves to spot the 'Big 5', the eight-day trip was a fitting reward for the nine agents' recent successes.
DMC partner manager, Natalie Aspinall, said they were "thrilled to have had the chance to reward our Travel Counsellors with this once-in-a-lifetime fam trip to South Africa... while primarily an opportunity to reward their recent efforts, the trip also provided a chance for training, enabling our TCs to immerse themselves in the experience and come away inspired by the magnificent South African complex, multi-destination itineraries they can offer to their customers."
One of the Travel Counsellors on the trip, Sorrel Ashton, described it as "an incredible adventure."
