New Hurtigruten agent reward scheme "reflects commitment to building strong relationships"

The Norwegian coastal cruising specialist's new rewards platform hopes to recognise and reward the role of trade partners in its success

Noting a 107% year-on-year increase in B2B sales, head of sales James Howlett says the reward scheme "reflects [Hurtigruten's] commitment to building strong, lasting relationships between Hurtigruten and UK travel agents.

"Their support has been a key driver of our success, and we want to ensure they feel valued and appreciated. We’re confident this initiative will enhance our collaboration and lead to even greater success."

Promising a user-friendly experience, the platform allows agents to track rewards, translate individual bookings into points and redeem points as vouchers or save them up for bigger uprchases.

Iain Powell, Hurtigruten's VP of sales & marketing, added, "The UK trade continues to be of the utmost importance to us. Travel agents have played a critical role in promoting our unique Norwegian coastal experiences, particularly our fantastic Signature offering aboard MS Trollfjord, and we are committed to recognising their invaluable contributions.

"This new rewards scheme is a meaningful and simple way to give back to our partners, providing them with additional incentives to continue supporting Hurtigruten."

Any agents signed up before midnight on October 31st, 2024 will earn a 100-point registration bonus.
