Fam trip shows agents Croatia’s diversity and beauty

The UK Croatian Tourist Board and the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist board shared the diversity and appeal of Croatia to industry professionals on a fam trip

The multi-day tour was made in collaboration with local tourist boards, and was dedicated to cultural and historical heritage, food and wine offerings, and natural beauty.

Guests visited Split, Trogir, Klis, Sinj, Vrgorac, the Red and Blue Lakes, and Hvar, highlighting the appeal of the country’s diverse offerings to British tourists, making Croatia a destination favourite.

Bisera Fabrio, director of the Croatian Tourist Board’s UK Representative Office, said such fam trips are of great importance in further promoting Croatia to the British tourism market.

She emphasised the need to extend the main part of the tourist year along with its seasonal flights, which are the key link between tourists from the UK and Croatia.

Flights to Croatia have been starting earlier and ending later every year, reflecting developments in this market.

Rachel Wilcox, head of Travel Counsellors, said, “Croatia exceeded my expectations.

“As an industry professional, I knew and expected it to be beautiful, but I was completely blown away by its incredible diversity.

“I return home with even greater passion to promote Croatia to my clients because this truly is a destination that has it all! A special thank you to all our hosts, tourist boards, hoteliers, guides and the people we met who made such a wonderful experience possible.”
