Responsible Travel has announced its £200 cash booking gift for agents is ‘here to stay’
The reward scheme was initially launched as an incentive for the company’s new Agents Hub, but is set to continue.
Through this, agents receive a £200 cash bonus in addition to 10% commission and a free gift for every booking made via the Agents Hub, which is a collection of over 1,000 hand-picked holidays.
Whilst almost all of Responsible Travel’s 6,000 holidays are trade bookable, however only those in the dedicated Agents Hub collection includes the higher 10% commission rate and £200 reward.
Tim Williamson, co-director of Responsible Travel, said, “Agents go above and beyond for their customers every day and we want to support them however we can.
“The Hub is a great-one stop shop – offering exceptional holidays, knowledgeable staff support and direct access to our trusted partners around the world who create and run these incredible experiences.”
Responsible Travel has also seen a spike in demand for its small group culture holidays in Africa, with a 46% year-on-year rise in enquiries.
Egypt enquiries have overtaken those for Botswana, with requests for Nile cruises outstripping the Okavango Delta.
The tour operator says its most-enquired about African countries over the last year have been Morocco, followed by Egypt, and Botswana.
