Ambassador Cruise Line has officially launched its brand-new Trade Portal, making it easier for travel agent partners to search, book, and manage sailings
The system is now live, and trade partners are being asked to move across by September 30th, after which the previous Portal will close.
To build the system, Ambassador reviewed the existing booking journey from an agent’s perspective, and made adjustments tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
The final produce is a one-stop shop that brings cruise search, booking management, live campaigns, incentives, training, downloadable marketing assets, ship visit requests, and business support together in one place.
Nicola Harper, Head of Distribution at Ambassador Cruise Line, said, “Our trade partners are a vital part of Ambassador's success, so I am delighted that the new Trade Portal is now live and giving agents a much simpler way to do business with us.
"We made a conscious decision not simply to update the existing system. We looked again at the whole journey from an agent's perspective and worked closely with ROL Cruise and our wider trade network to create something practical, intuitive, and genuinely built around the way agents work.”
Rather than relying on shared agency logins, trade partners will have their own secured accounts, providing more personalised access to the Portal.
