Third of Brits want Christmas in the sun

A recent survey by Esprit Santas Lapland has revealed that 74% of those asked what they `love about Christmas said it was spending time with the family and seeing the excitement on the childrens faces on Christmas morning.

Nearly 20% said they enjoyed guilt-free food and drink at Christmas and another 8% loved the build up to the day, with cheesy Christmas songs, making Christmas hampers and wrapping presents being among the top comments.?

 

Meanwhile, a similar survey undertaken by?HolidayExtras.com found that 28% of Brits would prefer to jet off to the?sun?instead of spending Christmas at home, with 12% of respondents?fancying spending Christmas on the piste.?A romantic 27% of?travellers?said that their perfect Yule would be anywhere as long as they are with the one they love and 32% of those questioned in the online poll said they would spend Christmas at home with family, even if money were no object.?
