Amsterdam is to host the fourth CLIA UK & Ireland River Cruise Convention with travel agents able to take advantage of at least six ship visits. The Convention, which is expected to attract 300 delegates, will take place on November 16 and 17.

The conference and trade fair will take place on the Sunday followed by ship visits on Monday, with tours confirmed so far on ships offered by Uniworld, A-Rosa, Amadeus River Cruises, AmaWaterways and Tauck.

More British passengers than ever before are taking a holiday on Europe?s waterways, with 2013 seeing a rise of 22% in the number of passengers choosing a river cruise taking the total number to almost 110,000 passengers.
