Virgin Holidays has introduced a new multi-currency Cash Passport card in partnership with MasterCard.
p>Virgin Holidays has introduced a new multi-currency Cash Passport card in partnership with MasterCard.The card is a chip and PIN enabled pre-paid card that can be loaded with one currency ? or a selection of up to seven, whilst locking in the exchange rate at the time of load, reload or when moving funds between currencies.
It can be topped up online or over the phone for the lifetime of the card. Customers can then use it to withdraw local currency at nearly two million cash machines around the world, or use it to pay for goods at more than 31 million merchants displaying the MasterCard Acceptance Mark.
The operator has also recently introduced its first bespoke travel insurance policy. Providing cover for single or multiple trips and 90 different activities for travellers up to the age of 70 as standard, with upgrades for winter sports and cruising available, the policy has been designed in association with Allianz Insurance to provide customers with a comprehensive, good value, basic level of peace of mind.
