For the first time, Kendal Callers will be able to book train tickets at the same time as their festival tickets ? up to eight months in advance of the standard booking window, thanks to Virgin Trains, who returns as the Festival?s official travel partner for 2015.
Festival goers can normally only buy train tickets 13 weeks before travel however Virgin Trains has created exclusive Kendal Calling fares for a limited time only, available now.
Zonal Fares are available from all locations on the West Coast into Penrith, starting at ?31 from Glasgow and ?69 from London Euston. The exclusive fares include free shuttle bus transfers and the peace of mind that prices won?t go up.
In addition, festival goers can spread their payments over several installments if they book with the direct debit scheme. Virgin Trains and festival tickets will be posted one month before Kendal Calling.
The company has also increased the number of train services into Penrith, meaning all trains North and South will stop at Penrith during the festival period (July 30 ? August 2). Fixed price train tickets are on sale now for a limited time only.
