UTracks has expanded its programme by more than a quarter, with the introduction of new hiking trips throughout the year.

As examples, an eight-day Italian Lakes Walk launches on March 11 and features Lake Como, Lake Lugano, mountaintops and traditional villages, which have retained their unique character.
It costs from ?790 per person and departs daily from March 11 to October 31. A six-day Transylvania Castles and Mountains walk debuts on May 8 and takes in the Bucegi mountains. It costs ?420 and departs daily from May 8 to October 10.
Meanwhile, an 11-day Southern Italy Volcano Trail launches on May 8 and inckudes visits to Pompeii, the summit of Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi coastline, Naples and Sicily.
It costs ?1,590 per person, with seven departure dates between May and October.
Other additions include a seven-day Mont Blanc Family Walk which launches on July 4 and costs ?605 for adults and ?445 per child.
Prices include accommodation, most meals, equipment rental, mountain guides, luggage transfers and maps with images.
Flights are not included but can be booked on request.
