UK agents invited to join the Brand USA Global Marketplace platform

The two-day event will focus on the UK & Ireland travel/consumer landscape and host a training day for travel agents. 

Brand USA, the America-centric destination marketing organisation, has announced its next event: Focus On UK & Ireland. The two-day, virtual event, taking place on April 20-21, 2021, on the organisation's custom-built platform, will provide access to a diverse range of U.S. destinations, attractions and points of interest for the UK travel trade.

Chris Thompson, Brand USA president and CEO, explained: ?We?re thrilled to kickstart the conversations about inbound tourism to the U.S. from the U.K. and Ireland as we plan for the reopening of borders and the resumption of international travel. Together, the U.K. and Ireland represent the largest overseas market for inbound visitation and are vital to the United States? ability to drive growth.?

Day one of the event, on April 20, will see presentations from British Airways, Trailfinders and Virgin Atlantic, among others, with topics including 'The Future of Transatlantic Aviation' and 'The Resilience and Future of the U.K. and Irish Traveller'. 

April 21 will focus on interactive training opportunities and events, including presentations from Visit California, Travel Oregon and Visit Seattle, with topics including 'Exploring City Experiences Across the USA' and 'Networking with US Partners'.
