p>Tucan Travel has launched 40 new tours in East and Southern Africa, ranging from nine to 73 days.

They offer visitors the chance to take in national parks, wildlife and urban highlights of the popular Nairobi to Cape Town route. The new tours will operate from March 2011 and any bookings made six months before departure will qualify for a 5% early booking discount.

Tours include most park entry fees, transport and accommodation. New Overland Expeditions will also operate from March, travelling in vehicles in groups of 15-24 (max 34) and staying at established campsites and hotels.

For clients who prefer hotel stays, the company's Discovery Tours stay in either hotels and guesthouses, with short stays in pre-erected campsites in national parks. For added convenience, the Serengeti National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve and gorilla trekking permits are now included in the tour price (as applicable), but can be deducted on request at the time of booking if a client prefers not to take part in the excursions.
