p>TTA Worldchoice has launched a new software package for its members designed to help them to understand, manage and insure against the risks of booking non-packaged travel arrangements.

In launching Angel, Simon Hargreaves, managing director of TTA Worldchoice said: ?It is a huge worry for any travel agent that they know whether or not a holiday arrangement needs to be covered by an ATOL. Angel will automatically indicate if a booking should be covered by an ATOL.? ?

In addition Angel?will automatically monitor financial exposure by a supplier, alert by email when a supplier's pre-set level of exposure is reached, provide a link to purchase supplier failure cover, provide instant management information on financial exposure with all suppliers, cross reference to each agent?s office administration system.

For TTA Worldchoice members with a Small Business ATOL Angel will additionally advise if the booking should be covered under the Small Business ATOL, produce customer ATOL terms and conditions personalised with the agency?s details, calculate the figures required for the member?s annual ATOL return, monitor ATOL passenger numbers and alert by email when these are approaching the SBA 500 passenger limit.

This new software has been developed exclusively for TTA Worldchoice members and will be provided to them free of charge as a member benefit. ?

Simon Hargreaves said: ?This whole issue of liability is a major headache for all travel agents. We want our members to be able to focus on satisfying their customers? needs with confidence rather than being left confused and worried by regulations that are complicated. This is the first software of its kind to be made available in the travel industry and is the kind of solution that we will continue to develop for our members.?
