The programme, which has a dedicated 24-page brochure, has been designed for travellers who want an independent rail holiday without a group or tour manager, but with the confidence and value that all the hotel accommodation and rail travel has been checked and approved by the company.

The operator's new Rail & Stay programme offers European city breaks by rail to nine destinations including Paris, Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Berlin, Venice, Rome, Cologne and Nice. Each holiday includes rail travel from St Pancras in London (although rail travel from the travellers local destination can also be arranged) and hotel accommodation.

Brochure prices lead in at ?195 per person for a two-night city break to Brussels including bed-and-breakfast accommodation at the three-star Park Inn Brussels Midi hotel which has a city centre location and Eurostar travel.
