Working in conjunction with Uniworld, the 104-page brochure offers river journeys through Europe, Egypt and Russia on a fleet of five-star ships and introduces two new ships and three new itineraries. New vessel River Antoinette will sail an eight-day Castles Along the Rhine itinerary on selected dates from March to November 2011. Also new the Douro Spirit will commence cruises along Portugal?s UNESCO World Heritage Douro Valley from April 2011 as part of the ten-day Lisbon & the Beautiful Douro River itinerary and the eight-day Week on the River Douro itinerary. The three new itineraries include the 15-day Imperial capitals of Europe, the ten-day ?Treasures of Prague, Rhine & Main? and the 13-day ?Imperial Waterways of Russia?.
As an example of prices, the ten-day option combines two nights in a hotel in Prague with seven nights on River Ambassador. Prices start from ?1,999 per person if booked before September 30, and departs throughout April to November 2011. Excursions include visits to Nuremberg and the Hesperides Gardens, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Bamberg and W?rzburg, while shore excursions include walking tours of medieval Miltenberg, the ?Mediterranean? gardens of Aschaffenburg, the Pompejanum next to Germany?s Renaissance palace complex, the Johannisburg Castle. The price includes flights, full board accommodation, transfers, shore excursions with English speaking guides, complimentary water in the cabin, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with dinner (excluding the Nile and Russia), 24-hour tea and coffee and a VIP Home Departure Service.
