As examples, a Winter Ilulissat tour takes in iceberg views, with guests spending two nights either side of the trip in Reykjavik. Prices lead in at ?2,671 per person, including flights, six night?s breakfast accommodation based on two sharing, a welcome and farewell dinner in Greenland and a guided tour of Ilulissat. A number of optional excursions are available including dog sledging, a trip to the Greenland Hunters Settlement, a helicopter trip to the Ice Cap and an iceberg cruise.
Regional departures are possible subject to flight schedules and availability is from February 23 to April 26.
An eight-day Eskimo Travelling itinerary in East Greenland leads in at ?2,804 per person and offers the opportunity to take in traditional Greenlandic culture. The village of Kulusuk and town of Tasiilaq are featured, both of which are relatively isolated in relation to the rest of Greenland. Dinners will be eaten with a local family and accommodation is in an authentic guesthouse. Optional excursions include ice fishing, a snow hike and snowmobile safari.
