Departing on December 28 and February 17 and 21, 2013, the trip takes in the Northern Lights and takes a close look at the unique history and culture of the Lofoten Islands. Highlights include a guided tour to Lofotr, the Viking Museum at Borg; a trip to Hov, one of the best places from which to see the Northern Lights; and a guided tour of western Lofoten.
A number of optional excursions are also available including a visit to the Polar Lights Centre at Laukvik (included in the December departure), a nature safari by RIB boat where guests will have the opportunity to spot Sea Eagles and whales, cross country skiing, and a Northern Lights hunt by snow shoe in Hov.
