New hotel packages include a three-night stay at the Hatton Court Hotel near Cheltenham, for ?375 per person. Guests arrive on Christmas Eve and are presented with mulled wine, scones and clotted cream, a three-course dinner and post-Midnight Mass hot chocolate and cookies. Christmas Day will include a Buck?s Fizz breakfast, a five-course lunch, a buffet dinner in the evening, along with games and a quiz, while Boxing Day offers a hot buffet and live music.
Meanwhile, two nights at the four-star The Angel Hotel in Cardiff costs ?220 per person for arrivals on December 31. The break includes half-board accommodation, a New Year?s Eve gala dinner with table magician, live band and disco and an afternoon at the races.
