p> Indian Ocean specialist Enchanting Holidays has re-enforced its commitment to the trade by announcing its plan to stick with a base commission rate of 13% this year. Speaking at a event in London to launch the operator's two new brochures and thank agents for all their support last year, Shafique Cockar, head of product and marketing for Enchanting, said: ?We want to show our appreciation to the trade for recognising us as a top operator to Mauritius by offering a base commission of 13%, and, like in 2010, we shall be hosting fam trips in 2011 too. ?
"We also have a variety of incentive schemes in place for travel agents and we will also be hosting more trade dinners all over Britain." ?
The operator also used the event to launch two new brochures - its first ever Seychelles and Maldives programme and its 2011 Enchanting Mauritius brochure, which features a range of new hotels including Le Cardinal Exclusive Resort, Long Beach, St Regis Mauritius, Villas Valriche, Tamarina Hotel - Beach, Golf and Spa, and the Oberoi. More than 60 agents attended the evening, held at Indian restaurant Sezchan in London's Knightsbridge area, which was also supported by airlines, hotels and tourist boards including: Air Mauritius, Air Seychelles, Seychelles Tourist Office, One&Only Resorts, Naiade Resorts, Constance Hotels, Veranda Resorts, Grand Mauritian, Maradiva Villas and Hilton Hotels. ?
