Scheduled airlines now bookable through Superbreak

Agents can now book flights with scheduled airlines when packaging a short break with Superbreak.

New system developments have taken the operator?s flight inclusive packages to the next level, meaning that agents can now book hundreds of direct, scheduled services online from local airports to key short break destinations and combine them with hotels and ancillaries, all under the security of the operator's ATOL protection.

Examples include KLM, with flights available to Amsterdam from airports such as Manston, Humberside and Durham Tees Valley; CiytyJet, with connections from London City to Dundee; bmi regional, which offers routes including Aberdeen to Norwich, Bristol to Munich and Birmingham to Gothenburg; and Darwin Airline, with flights available to popular cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Milan and Geneva from Cambridge Airport.

The company's sales director, Jane Atkins, said: "Agents have a real opportunity to increase their revenues now - there is no need for them to use various sources to find the different elements, we can package it all. Protection continues to be hugely important and as changes occur to the ATOL regulations, I feel our packages really will come into their own.?

In the domestic market, flights are now available to and from a wide range of regional airports with airlines such as Little Red, BMI and Eastern Airways. The operator believes its short breaks will now be even more accessible to those around the county as agents can book flight inclusive packages to places that customers perhaps didn?t realise were doable for a weekend. For example ? fly from Aberdeen to Norwich or vice versa with BMI or Cardiff to Newcastle with Eastern Airways.

Looking ahead, further development is planned for the key short break booking period in late January/February with the addition of flight and hotel options to mid-haul destinations such as New York, Boston, Las Vegas and Dubai.
