p>Superbreak is promoting its rail inclusive London breaks, which it says are ideal for customers seeking a budget break. The operator reports that sales through agents of rail inclusive breaks to London are up 125% and figures show that in the three month period between August and October this year, 18,000 customers were booked by agents on rail inclusive beaks to London alone, compared to 8,000 customers in the same period last year.
The company attributes much of this growth to the value currently available for rail travel.
The company?s sales office manager, Chris Cundall, said: ?Currently rail inclusive breaks offer exceptional value and I urge agents to spend a little time working out what customers might save against published fares.
?Sometimes a rail and hotel package costs less than the published rail fare alone. A customer can for instance travel for a two-night stay at the four-star Corus Hotel Hyde Park and have return rail from any NXEC station from only ?110.50 per person.
?Our on-the-road sales team have worked hard to ensure agents understand the value these rail inclusive break offer. For example, in the north east in the last three months the vast majority of all shops visited have put London rail deals into their windows and as the figures show they continue to sell amazingly well and be a valuable source of revenue.?
