PONANT opens summer 2022 sales for Le Commandant Charcot

The ship is set to show its passengers the Arctic as it has never been seen before throughout summer 2022. 

PONANT is inviting travellers aboard Le Commandant Charcot for its summer 2022 season, with 10 sailings on sale now from April to September 2022.

Guests will be joined on board by 23 expert glaciologists, ornithologists, biologists and archaeologists, who will share their insight and offer an authentic experience through the Arctic's natural environments. 

Le Commandant Charcot is the first high polar exploration vessel with hybrid propulsion powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas), which is the most eco-friendly energy source for cruise ships available. PONANT has committed to sustainable tourism with these voyages, with 100% of waste on board recycled and no single use plastics. 

Featured in the programme is a series of new voyages exclusive to Le Commandant Charcot, including 'The Geographic North Pole' itinerary from Longyearbyen to Spitsbergen. The 16-day sailing showcases the best of the Arctic's scenery and rich and diverse wildlife from ?22,220, including return flights from Paris. This route will sail three times between July and August 2022. 

The ship will sail a number of itineraries throughout the season, with sales open now.
