Avro has put on sale a range of new routes and additional flying days for summer 2010 to include new flights with Monarch to Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester as well as a new flight to Cagliari, Sardinia from London Heathrow to operate from 15 May to 25 September for 7 and 14 night durations.

In addition to the 10% increase in charter capacity, the operator is also offering agents access to more than five million commissionable flight seats for summer 2010 through its dedicated link to Monarch?s scheduled stock across Spain, its islands, Portugal and Cyprus.

The companys managing director, Michael Vinales, said: ?Our agents need as much flexibility as possible to compete in the expanding dynamic packaging market. Increased frequencies and additional departure airports to the most popular holiday and home buying destinations are crucial to their success and by combining our own charter stock with that of sister company, Monarch?s scheduled stock we are able to do this.

"New for 2010 the flight to Sardinia costs from ?199 per person and will operate each Saturday throughout the summer season. With destinations like Turkey and Sharm el Sheikh continuing to thrive in the dynamic packaging market we are also increasing capacity to the destinations with summer 2010 having flights from Gatwick to Dalaman six days a week and up to three times daily and from Manchester five days per week. For Antalya, capacity for 2010 has also been increased from both Birmingham and Manchester and flights to Bodrum will also operate with added frequency from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham. To Sharm flights will be offered five times weekly from Gatwick and twice from Manchester. For long-haul we are maintaining our growth to include flights to Tobago, Grenada, the Dominican Republic, Male, Mombasa and Cancun."
