p>An increase in demand has lead to a travel operator introducing extra flights from Aberdeen.Teleticket Scotland has added a seven night break to Palma and one to Faro to their October 09 schedule.
That is in addition to an extra flight to Tenerife.
Neil Chapman, managing director, Teleticket Scotland said, ?With three years of flying from Aberdeen under our belt and the success of our flights to Tenerife we wanted to enhance our flight programme from Aberdeen airport. By adding destinations such as Palma and Faro this autumn we are continuing to offer traditionally favourite destinations at traditionally favourite holiday times. With prices which compare favourably with departures from other Scottish airports we are giving Aberdeen locals a real alternative for their holidays.?
Commenting on the extra services, Aberdeen Airport managing director, Kevin Brown said, ?This is great news for passengers in Aberdeen who are looking for some late-season sun. It is a show of faith from the company that they are bringing in extra services, despite talk of the UK?s gloomy economic position. I think this shows that people still want to get away and I am delighted that they can right from their own doorstep?.
