p>Liverpool John Lennon Airport has announced that a new airline will be starting from Liverpool next year with a new route to add to the airport?s list of 60 destinations.Norwegian will commence a three times weekly service from Liverpool to Copenhagen, starting on April 5 2013, with a lunchtime departure from Liverpool at 13:55 and one way fares from ?33.
Craig Richmond, CEO Liverpool John Lennon Airport commented, ?This is tremendous news for the Airport and the region. Norwegian are one of the up and coming low cost airlines in Europe and this is a very positive statement of the progress we are now making to develop the portfolio of airlines and destinations here at Liverpool.?
Both cities have so much to offer visitors and this new route should be equally popular with passengers travelling to both cities.?
Norwegians Communications Manager ?sa Larsson added, "We are very excited about adding Liverpool to our growing route network from Copenhagen. We will be the only operator between the two cities and are looking forward to flying both Danish and English customers inexpensively and comfortable in our brand new aircraft with free WiFi".
