Leaving historic Bishop's Castle, the route follows ancient drovers? trails along the ridgeways, or 'cefns' of the border of England and Wales, linking with sections of the Shropshire Way and Offa?s Dyke, towards the historic market town of Ludlow. Passing through villages, visitors will explore Norman castles and Saxon hillforts en-route, with stays in three hostelries that serve real ale and home-made cuisine.
