Cycling holidays for blind people, 'free climbing' in mountain regions, rugby games, quad tours or canoeing for wheelchair users, plus darkened ?sensory? tours are just a few of the activities available, for people with disabilities, through the new guide.


'BarrierFree Tourism in Germany' outlines the pursuits available region by region and gives details of how to get further information. It includes river cruises, beach and water wheelchair holidays, a museum for the blind in which all visitors go through the exhibits in complete darkness, the Phaeno Science Museum in Wolfsburg with its hands-on, sensory exhibits, plus BarrierFree hiking tours, to name a few activities.
