National Express has reported that Thursday 5 April?will be the busiest day for coach travel this Easter. ?The coach operator has analysed services across the UK to report on the top destinations and key trends for Easter travel.

More than 7,000 extra coach seats (over 100 coaches) have already been laid on across Britain in response to increased demand with the most popular destinations nationwide being London, Birmingham and Bristol.

The busiest day for people travelling to UK airports is Wednesday 5 April - around 5,000 people will travel direct to terminals across Britain on this day alone with National Express. The company recently extended the terms of it?s Senior Coachcard to allow over 60?s and disabled passengers to claim a third off airport travel and has since seen a 62% increase in the sale of cards in the run to the Easter holidays.

Andrew Cleaves, managing director,?National Express coach said: ?Easter is one of the busiest travel periods for National Express and we?ve added over 7,000 additional seats on popular routes to ensure customers can still afford to visit friends and family in Britain or enjoy a last minute getaway from the airport.?
