Amadeus River Cruises has launched a May bonanza for agents with a series of special net rates being offered on selected French itineraries, giving up to 50% off published fares.

The May promotion is offered on the line?s ?French Savoir Vivre? cruise, an eight day round-trip journey from Lyon calling at Macon, Chalon-sur-Saone, Tournus, Avignon, Arles, Viviers and Le Pouzin.

The lead in price is now ?715 per person (reduced from ?1,431) for departure on 21 May. For sailings on 28 May, 25 June and 16 July, prices start from ?808 (down from ?1,615).Prices include transfers between airport/train station and ship and seven nights? full-board accommodation aboard the 146-passenger Amadeus Symphony.

As a Bank Holiday bonus offer, the company has removed the single supplement on its May 28 French Savoir Vivre cruise, giving an additional 15% saving.

Three tour packages are available with rates from ?139 per person. Alternatively, individual tours or packages may be booked on board, subject to availability.

Northern France is also included in the special promotion, with a lead net rate of ?715 per person (reduced from ?1,431) being offered on?Paris and The River Seine? eight day cruise departing June 25. Sailing from Paris, Amadeus Diamond heads for the medieval town of Conflans and then on to Rouen, Caudebec en Caux, Les Andelys, via Vernon and Poissy then back to Paris.Transfers are also included on this departure. Tour packages are priced from ?123.
