Condor Ferries has introduced a number of MARINElife day trips to the Channel Islands, offering passengers the opportunity to view the marine mammals and seabirds in the English Channel.

MARINElife conducts monthly surveys on the company's ferries running to Jersey and Guernsey. Over the past few months a wide variety of marine life and seabirds have been sighted from the ferries that depart from Weymouth including the common dolphin, Harbour Porpoise and Minke whale, as well as Great Skua, Manx shearwater and Gannet.

To make the most of the wildlife, Condor has introduced weekly MARINElife day trip sailings to Guernsey throughout this month. With a wildlife officer on board, birdwatchers, marine enthusiasts and nature novices will have the chance to discover the various species in both air and sea and learn more about how to spot and identify species.

The day trips depart from Weymouth to Guernsey on August 20 and from Poole to Guernsey on August 13 and 27.

Adult day trip tickets cost ?20 and children aged four-15 cost ?15, which includes a ?5 donation to MARINElife when booked online.
