Malaysia Airlines boosts capacity to Australasia with four times weekly service

Malaysia Airlines has launched a new route to Darwin, capital of the Northern Territory in Australia for UK passengers.

The four times weekly service to Darwin, departs Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur on the double-daily A380 flight before a quick transit onto the new and improved 737-800 aircraft to complete their journey.


The carrier is also increasing frequency from Kuala Lumpur to key Australian destinations. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney will increase to 21 weekly from February 5 and flights to Melbourne increased to triple daily last November. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland, New Zealand also on the A330 aircraft increased from six times weekly to a daily service last year and will be permanent from March 30.


Return Economy fares to Brisbane cost from ?899 including taxes and charges and fares to Auckland in New Zealand cost from ?1,037.
