p>Holiday Experts homeworkers, met in Manchester this week for the first time since becoming a division of the Vertical Group during the summer.Holiday Experts Managing director , Mike Russell, opened the conference, with a full report on the past year and confirmed that whilst the trade in general had faced a very difficult period, average commission earnings of Holiday Experts homeworkers, was the highest in the industry at over ?50,000 for the year 08/09 and had increased by an average of 41% over the previous 12 month period, as a direct result of using new media channels to generate high quality leads.
Russell added that the acquisition by the Vertical Group added security and stability for the future and will enable homeworkers to increase sales using leads generated through web-based channels and also using CRM platforms for direct mail campaigns to improve repeat business and build the client database for each individual homeworker offering them the chance to further increase their commission earnings.
Peter Healey, CEO, Holiday Experts said, ? The inclusion of Holiday Experts into the Vertical Group, has allowed us to focus on new media opportunities and roll out a series of new websites that are generating good quality leads, steering us away from traditional homeworking media channels. Our homeworkers are excellent sales people and an improved conversion level offers an increased return on investment to plough back into the business.
Healey added ?We have spent the initial period following the acquisition, restructuring the business and next month we will be launching a recruitment drive, which will see the number of homeworkers triple over the next 2 years. Our continued investment will not only allow opportunities for our existing homeworkers, but also offer great opportunities for travel industry professionals who wish to start their own business. Our aim is to offer our clients expertise in their chosen destination and become a leading brand in the UK Travel arena built on modern marketing methods? The event offered homeworkers information on marketing practices and techniques to increase their business and closed with a question and answer session. Dinner and informal networking followed the meeting, allowing homeworkers the chance for a detailed discussion of their own business.
Russell said ?The homeworkers have enjoyed the opportunity to meet for the first time since Holiday Experts joined the Vertical Group and having met with key figures within that business, they are returning home highly motivated with the knowledge that they have a leading industry figure with extensive travel expertise behind them, who is prepared to invest in the long term future of Holiday Experts. I am very excited about the business and the future of Holiday Experts than I have been for a long time and know that we now have a superb offer for anyone wishing to change their career path, take control of their earning potential and lifestyle.?
