p>With Christmas almost upon us, Lufthansa passengers can look forward to plenty of little gifts with small Christmas surprises spreading a festive atmosphere.

Two surprises will put a smile on the faces of younger passengers on board all aircraft. One is a little Christmas teddy bear, dressed in a thick hooded coat and given to all children. In addition, young passengers on all flights will receive an exclusive Lufthansa model Airbus A380 made of LEGO bricks. The limited-edition construction set has 67 pieces and will be handed out along with an exciting LEGO activity book to provide amusement on board. Customers travelling in Business Class will also receive small chocolate gifts on Lufthansa flights until December 26.

Young or old, lounge guests will be pampered during their wait for connecting flights in the festively decorated First Class facilities in Frankfurt and Munich. The culinary treats on offer include seasonal favourites like creamy chestnut soup, roast goose with red cabbage and dumplings and sweet pastries such as Stollen cake, gingerbread biscuits and Christmas cookies baked fresh daily. Anyone who wants to try their hand at being a pastry cook themselves can do so with the support of the in-house baker during a live baking show in the First Class Lounge in Munich.

While the adult First Class Lounge guests get into the holiday spirit with a glass of mulled wine or Lumumba, hot chocolate with rum, younger passengers will receive a surprise Christmas gift package with travel games, colouring pencils, Christmas gummy bears and a cuddly key chain in all lounges in Frankfurt and Munich.

First Class passengers and HON Circle members fleeing the cold to holiday in warmer climes can enjoy another service: Up to and including the month of April, they can lighten their luggage before setting off by checking their coat in at Frankfurt or Munich Airport free of charge and picking it up again on their return.

Additionally First Class passengers on selected long-haul routes can choose their meal from a special winter magic candlelight menu. Every guest that chooses this meal receives a nut cracker as a small Christmas present.

To make even more Christmas wishes come true without hassles, passengers in all classes can do their Christmas shopping on board until December 27: Passengers on long-haul flights with FlyNet availability can visit the Amazon website to browse for presents and place their order online free of charge.
