The tours are featured by Avion Holidays in its Eastern Shores brochure, with a range of tailormade options.

As examples, the State of Karnataka in India is featured, where visitors learn about the tiger conservation project undertaken by the Department of Forest and Environment and other vital work being carried out to protect the wildlife.

Other tours offer visitors the chance to visit elephant sanctuaries, learning about their behaviour, preparing their food and participating in the elephant baths in the river.

A one-day tour costs from ?130 per person based on a full-board stay at the Kabini Jungle Lodges near India?s River Kabini and including a safari.
