La Manga Club in Spain is to run a special family half-term charity week next month in conjunction with UNICEF.
p>La Manga Club in Spain is to run a special family half-term charity week next month in conjunction with UNICEF. The resort will host a range of events and subsidised activities for children during the school holidays (October 24-30), with proceeds in aid of UNICEF?s Schools for Africa project.
Children between the ages of seven and 14 years will be able to participate in new events with the highlight being the inaugural Mini-Masters for Africa sports tournament series.
Mini-Masters for Africa will include competitions for golf (October 24), tennis and football (both October 30), with juniors competing both individually as well as forming teams representing different African nations. There will be a range of additional attractions including special family menus, charity film screenings, a UNICEF Open Day, end-of-tournament parties on October 24 and 30 and a Funlandia family programme.
The resort is running a number of free night promotions and other offers at both the five-star hotel and serviced Las Lomas Village apartments over the October half-term period.
