p>Kuoni has become the latest travel retailer to join Advantage Travel Centres managed services scheme (AMS), becoming the first agency chain to sign up. Five of the operator's 12 shops will join the scheme by the end of this year, with the remaining seven shops and up to eight new stores being phased in next year.? Launched last year, AMS offers established travel agents an opportunity to focus on selling holidays rather than administration, by off loading its back office function. It also gives help to new start up businesses, as well as allowing independent specialists to broaden their range of products and services.
