JetBlue adds Amsterdam to its transatlantic roster

The airline is continuing its expansion into Europe with a nonstop service from New York and Boston to Amsterdam, with tickets now on sale.

The service from New York’s JFK will begin on August 29th, 2023, with the Boston service following on September 20th. This marks the company’s third transatlantic route, following the successful launch of the London service in August 2021 and the highly anticipated Paris service taking to the skies next month.

Robin Hayes, chief executive officer at JetBlue, said: “Entrenched legacy carriers have dominated this route for decades. Our transatlantic service demonstrates how JetBlue’s entrance into a new market lowers fares and benefits customers.

“We look forward to continue expanding JetBlue’s transatlantic footprint and introduce customers traveling to and from Amsterdam to our award-winning service and to our highly-acclaimed Mint and core products at affordable fares.”

Flights will operate daily, and to celebrate the launch, JetBlue are offering limited roundtrip fares, starting at approximately £1,500 for the Mint premium experience, and approximately £379 for Core services.
