To celebrate the Panama Canal?s 100th anniversary, six Holland America Line ships will sail 28 full and partial transits of the Panama Canal from this month until April.

p>To celebrate the Panama Canal?s 100th anniversary, six Holland America Line ships will sail 28 full and partial transits of the Panama Canal from this month until April.

The ?Amsterdam?, ?Statendam?, ?Veendam?, ?Westerdam?, ?Zaandam? and ?Zuiderdam? will transit the canal from six departure cities, including Veendam?s new departure from Boston, going between the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean.

Panama Canal cruise-only fares range from ?589 per person for a ten-day itinerary to ?1,704 per person for an 18-day voyage.
Examples include a 14-night Mexico and Costa Rica fly/cruise from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale from ?2,169 per person. Guests can explore Cabo San Lucas, Santa Cruz, Huatulco and Puerto Chiapas, Mexico and Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica. A whole day is then spent travelling along the Panama Canal from Balboa to Cristobal before the ship travels to its final port of call, Cartagena in Colombia. The price excludes taxes and is based on two people sharing an inside cabin, departing on September 19.
