Holiday Extras is encouraging agents to sell dinner upgrades.
p>Holiday Extras is encouraging agents to sell dinner upgrades. The company recently asked customers how they found feeding the family when travelling and the results revealed that the majority of people with children said they don't let them eat any differently on holiday to normal (46%).
However, for 18% of those holidaying with little ones, ice creams are slurped more often than usual, and fast foods are more likely to be on the menu for 15%. For travellers who want to focus on wholesome family food, the company is promoting stays at Hilton airport hotels, which have teamed up with child nutrition expert, Annabel Karmel, to provide tasty, healthy meals for children up to the age of ten. As an extra incentive, children eat free at the hotels when ordering with a paying adult.
The children's menu is available at Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, East Midlands, Liverpool, Bristol, Southampton, Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast.
