Heathrow launches first mobile app

Heathrow is offering passengers a free version of its newly launched pro app service for the next few weeks to provide passengers with the latest information and updates on the status of flights operating in and out of the airport.

The application - a complete mobile advice service designed for anyone travelling to, from or through Heathrow ? will enable passengers to plan their entire airport visit from the palm of their hand.

 

Two versions are available - a free edition and a paid for premium pro version, which normally costs ?1.79 per year but will be available to download at no cost until the end of May.

The app is available now on Apple iPhone and iPod touch, Vodafone 360, Google Android, and coming soon to Blackberry and Java-based smartphones.
