The property is on the site of the former Carleton County jail and was Canada?s last public hanging location. It has 110 beds in total and offers shared and private cells, along with a ghost walking tour of Ottawa.

Elsewhere in the province, the Fairmont Chateau Laurier is reportedly haunted by its financier, who was on the ill-fated Titanic, while the Old Angel Inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake is Ontario?s oldest operating inn and is supposedly haunted by a soldier from the War of 1812.
